Bienvenidos

Bienvenidos! We arrived in Guatemala around 8:30 last night. We were thankful to be on the ground as we left DFW after an hour delay because the plane needing some fixing. W were all thankful for a quick and easy trip through customs with our bags of school supplies. The Lord is already answering prayers :). Once we got our bags we took a bus to a great little taco stand where we enjoyed some late night pork tacos and griengos (quesadillas). We drove the windy road here to Fundaninos and arrived around midnight.

Below you'll see a picture of a beautiful mountain that surrounds Fundaninos, the building most of us are staying in, and a quick picture at the taco stand.

This morning we enjoyed cereal with several cute kids. I for one am thankful for Jennifer and Luis who carry us when it comes to speaking Spanish. I can already tell that we are going to have a great time with these kids. Hopefully we'll get to post again soon!
