The Packing Party...

Thank you Texas teachers who donated many school supplies for the students and teachers in Guatemala!  We've got them packed and we're ready to go.  

Pray for humble hearts, safe travels, healthy bodies, and the community in Guatemala.  We can't wait to see what is in store for the trip.  

Excited About Our Journey

God called together a group of thirteen teachers to go to Guatemala and be light in the schools and community.  As we meet to pray and plan, we are all excited to work with the kids and teachers at Fundaninos and the community at Casa De Libertad.  The Village Church has sent faithful groups to Guatemala before and we are excited to be an extension of the work that has been done and the seeds that have been planted. We are planning professional development for teachers with the heart of encouraging the teachers and ultimately sharing Christ with everyone we can.  Luis Tovar has been faithful in leading the trip and it is a joy to see how everyone's background and gifts will be used to accomplish the mission of Guatemala III.  This blog will be a great way to follow our trip.  We are thankful in advance for your prayers and everyone who has provided the means for us to travel to Guatemala.
